關於金箔Obitsu Kewpie®娃娃

如今，大家開始將目光聚焦在延續傳統技藝的工匠身上——無論是傳統工藝，還是支撐著日本高度經濟成長時期的町工廠。來自同樣以製造業聞名的兩座城市——東京葛飾與石川金澤的兩家公司，攜手推出一款特別的慈善商品「金箔 Obitsu Kewpie®」，希望透過部分銷售收入，為能登半島地震與水災的復興盡一份心力。

Obitsu 製作所的員工原本就是「箔座」產品以及使用金箔製作的日本酒等商品的愛用者，也早已注意到雙方在製造理念上的共通之處。就在這樣的背景下，能登半島發生了大地震。地震與水災所帶來的巨大災害，至今已過一年，災區復原仍遙遙無期，「箔座」的一些合作夥伴也受到影響。身處同樣由職人精神支撐的城鎮，Obitsu 製作所也無法對此視若無睹，於是持續思考自己能做些什麼來幫助災區。最終促成了這次的合作——將「箔座」的金箔應用於「Obitsu Kewpie®」上，誕生出「金箔 Obitsu Kewpie®」。

一直以來積極與各界合作的 Obitsu Kewpie®，這次成為了從一座製造之城傳遞至另一座製造之城的信使。

本商品推出 5 公分、15 公分與 25 公分三種尺寸，皆由兩家公司職人手工製作。全身閃耀著金色光芒的可愛Kewpie 娃娃，不僅象徵著照亮未來希望的光芒，也是一份寄託平安祝願的溫馨禮物。「Obitsu Kewpie® × 箔座金箔」這場由深知職人技藝價值的兩家公司所打造的合作，希望能成為支援災區職人、延續技藝的一份力量，我們將深感榮幸。

Limited Edition Gold Leaf Obitsu Kewpie® Dolls Debut in Hong Kong

Crafted through a collaboration between Tokyo’s renowned toy manufacturer OBITSU Manufacturing and Kanazawa’s century-old gold leaf brand “Hakuza,” these unique golden artworks are meticulously hand-applied with pure gold leaf by experienced artisans.

Available in three sizes, with limited quantities and exceptional collectible value.

💛 A portion of the proceeds will be donated by the Japanese organizers to support artisans in the Noto earthquake disaster area who continue to preserve traditional craftsmanship, keeping the flame of heritage alive.

About the Gold Leaf Obitsu Kewpie® Dolls

Today, attention is increasingly focused on artisans who preserve traditional crafts—whether traditional techniques or the town factories that supported Japan’s high economic growth period. Two companies from cities renowned for manufacturing—Tokyo’s Katsushika and Ishikawa’s Kanazawa—have joined forces to create a special charity product, the “Gold Leaf Obitsu Kewpie®,” with proceeds dedicated to supporting recovery efforts from the Noto Peninsula earthquake and floods.

Employees of Obitsu Manufacturing were already admirers of Hakuza products and gold leaf sake, recognizing the shared manufacturing philosophy between the two companies. Against this backdrop, the Noto Peninsula was struck by a major earthquake. Over a year has passed since the earthquake and floods brought devastating damage, yet recovery remains distant, affecting some of Hakuza’s partners. As a company rooted in a town sustained by craftsman spirit, Obitsu Manufacturing could not stand by, continuously contemplating how to help the disaster area. This ultimately led to the collaboration—applying Hakuza’s gold leaf to the “Obitsu Kewpie®,” giving birth to the “Gold Leaf Obitsu Kewpie®.”

The Obitsu Kewpie®, which has actively collaborated with various sectors, now serves as a messenger from one manufacturing city to another.

This product is available in three sizes—5cm, 15cm, and 25cm—all handcrafted by artisans from both companies. The adorable Kewpie dolls, radiating golden brilliance, symbolize the light of hope for the future and serve as a heartfelt gift conveying wishes for peace and safety.
